Welcome to by Indah – an online shop full of lovingly handmade jewellery for women, men, boys and girls.

The name by Indah was thought up by my daughter Iris Indah. Indah means “beautiful” in Indonesian – a meaning that perfectly suits the jewellery I make with care and attention.

How it started

What began as a creative hobby grew into a fully-fledged business in 2013. After years of enjoying my work at De Bijenkorf in Enschede, I unfortunately had to quit my job due to illness and rehabilitation. But sitting still? That's not for me. I soon discovered my passion for making jewellery – and so by Indah was born.

Handmade & made with love

Each piece of jewellery is handmade, often completely customised or personalised. This means that no two pieces of jewellery are exactly the same. During busy periods, delivery times may be slightly longer, but I will always keep you personally informed. Is your order a gift? Please let me know – I will make sure it arrives on time and beautifully packaged.

Natural materials & quality

I prefer to work with natural materials such as natural stone and wood, combined with stainless steel and sometimes DQ metal – with real silver or (rose) gold plating. This creates a collection that is both bold and refined, and always of beautiful quality.
